Introduction
This is the privacy statement of Mistral Studios, an Australian Proprietary Company under Australian law. Mistral Studios respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and website visitors. We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cih). This policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal information. Personal information is information we hold which is identifiable as being about you. 

Collection of personal data
Mistral Studios creates a unique work of art of your (pregnant) body in the form of customised art. There are several situations in which your data are collected by Mistral Studios. Mistral Studios uses your personal data for the following purposes;

1. Contacting you: Your data will be collected if you contact Mistral Studios via the contact form on the website. This form only asks for the necessary details such as your name, e-mail address, phone number to book an appointment or buy a Mistral Studios product.

2. Manufacturing and sending the products: To create the artwork, we will make a photo scan of your (pregnant) body. This photo scan consists of a digital 3D representation of your body. This photo scan is carefully and securely stored. We also use your address details to send you the artwork. Your digital file will not be used in any other way, unless you have given permission.

3. For the technical and functional management of the website: The Mistral Studios website collects your data to improve the website. This includes information such as the duration of your website visit or the pages you visit.
   Consequences of not providing data provision (and processing) of the data mentioned above under 2.1 and 2.2 is a necessary condition to enable our services to you.

Third parties
Mistral Studios does not sell/share your data to third parties. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Mistral Studios remains responsible for this processing.

Storage period
Your data will be stored by Mistral Studios for five years. After this, Mistral Studios again needs your explicit consent to keep your data for another five years.

1. Contacting you: The moment you contact Mistral Studios by e-mail, the data you send, such as your name, telephone number and e-mail address, will be stored on the mail server. 

2. Analytics: The data collected by Analytics on the website are anonymous, i.e. not linked to your name, company or e-mail address. 

3. Creating the photo scan: The file we keep of you is anonymised and not traceable to you based on your name, phone number and e-mail address. Your digital file is kept - if you have given your consent - for a period of five years free of charge. This way, in case of damage or loss, there is always the possibility to order a new copy. If you do not give your consent, the file will be destroyed within two months of the artwork being sent.

Security
Mistral Studios uses technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against (unintentional) destruction, loss, modification, unauthorised disclosure or access. Mistral Studios protects these personal data in a manner that may reasonably be expected of it. The personal data managed by Mistral Studios can only be accessed via a secure system.

Your rights

1. Right of inspection: You have the right to request access to your data recorded and stored at Mistral Sudios at any time. You can do so by sending an e-mail.

2. Right to erase, restrict processing or object to the use of data: Do you no longer want your data to be recorded at Mistral Studios? Then you have the right to have your data erased.

3. Complaint handling: we ask you to contact us if you have a complaint. This can be done by emailing hello@mistralstudios.com.au.
   A request regarding the above rights can be addressed to Mistral Studios by sending an e-mail  We aim to respond within one month. Depending on the complexity, this period can be extended by two months.
